The purpose of the Hopes & Dreams Fundraising is to raise both capital and operational funds to enhance NCFC facilities and maintain critical services and programs. Capital raised will be used for the Community Hub or to enhance our existing Centre, supporting the long-term operations and sustainability of NCFC initiatives. The Community Hub will house social housing services, while the current Centre will be transformed into a dedicated space for children and youth. Together, these facilities will provide stability, opportunity, and hope for families in North Central for generations to come.

For 2026 and beyond, funds raised through NCFC Hopes & Dreams Fundraising will be used to raise capital to support the community hub project, and to renovate the existing North Central Family Centre. Together, these facilities provide safe and welcoming spaces where children, youth, and families can access vital supports, connect with the community, and build brighter futures. Funds will also ensure both facilities are fully equipped and furnished to meet the needs of the people we serve, while contributing to long-term operational sustainability. This investment is not just about buildings, it is about creating stability, hope, and opportunity for generations to come. Funds will also be raised to support the ongoing costs associated with delivering the core services offered by NCFC not funded by other sources, and unfunded overhead costs.

Orange Buffalo Lodge will provide safe and supportive housing for children, youth, seniors, and low-income families who are working toward a better quality of life.

Yes, donations to Hopes & Dreams Fundraising are tax-deductible as per the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulations. Through our partnership with Saskatchewan Community Foundation, donors will receive tax receipts for all eligible donations. Cash, multi-year pledges, stocks and property are all accepted. To thrive, any organization needs a base, predictable funding, while NCFC relies on the support of the community to be sustainable as it searches and develops new and more stable sources of revenue. The added efforts and costs associated with this bold journey and the extra work in initiating the Orange Buffalo
Lodge, developing the Community Hub and planning for the refurbishment of the centre take management and other resources as well, and are partly covered by Hopes & Dreams contributions.
